~SEMOLINA WITH APPLE COMPOTE~



Semolina with apple compote is nice to eat as breakfast, dessert or just as light snack during the day :)









Ingredients:
- 500 g apples
- 150 ml water
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon 
- 500 ml milk (cow, soya, almond, oat,...)
- 50 g semolina
- ginger
- sugar


Preparation:
  1. Prepare the apple compot first. Peel the apples, cut them into quarters and remove the core of the apples. Put the apples, water and lemon juice (and additional sugar and ginger) in a pot and let it boil. Reduce the heat and let the apple compote simmer for 15 min, till the apples get soft. 
  2. Meanwhile prepare the semolina as describe on the semolina package.
  3. Season the apple compote with cinnamon.
  4. Serve semolina with apple compote and other toppings of your juice. Enjoy!

PS: Usually I don't use any additional sugar, because the the apple compote is due to the                   apples already seewt enough for me. But I like to cook it with some ginger to give it                     some extra taste.
